Christmas Recipe: Easy No-Bake Peppermint Bark

The holidays are just around the corner, which means it’s time to get all your favorite Christmas recipes ready! Whether you’re hosting Christmas at the campground or attending some holiday parties, this Christmas recipe will be a hit wherever you are celebrating.

Ingredients

  • 30 peppermint candies
  • 1 1/2 lbs. semi-sweet dark chocolate
  • 1 1/2 lbs. white chocolate
  • 3/4 tsp. peppermint extract

Instructions

  1. Using parchment paper, line 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a glass bowl, slowly melt the semi-sweet dark chocolate in the microwave by heating for 30 secs at a time and stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the dark chocolate into the bottom of the baking dish and spread out to coat evenly.
  4. Next, melt the white chocolate in the same way.
  5. Once the white chocolate is fully melted and smooth, add the peppermint extract. Stir to blend thoroughly.
  6. Pour the white chocolate on top of the dark chocolate layer and spread it out to create another even coat.
  7. Add the peppermint candies to a plastic bag and crush them by pounding it with a rolling pin to desired sizes.
  8. Top the chocolates with the crushed peppermints and gently press them into the top of the chocolate.
  9. Store in the refrigerator until hard, approximately 30 minutes.
  10. Slice and serve!
